Large Non-profit Organization
The Siegel Jewish Community Center (www.siegeljcc.org) is a non-profit membership organization located in Wilmington, Delaware. As a cornerstone of the Wilmington community, the JCC caters to people of all ages by offering preschool, childcare and camp programs, as well as a state-of-the-art fitness center, indoor pool, gymnasium and racquetball courts.
Before working with the Creative Web Group, the Siegel JCC had several website and branding problems. They were using an antiquated ecommerce system, which made it difficult for members to sign up for classes and register for events. The website's navigation was cumbersome and there were many useless pages with poorly organized information. Overall, they had no presence on the web and needed to find a way to convey their services to the public.
Creative tackled the problem and completely revamped the Siegel JCC's brand using a variety of colors, logos, and fonts to match the corporate identity of the JCC Association, the continental umbrella organization for the Jewish Community Center Movement. The Creative Web Group read through the entire existing website and reorganized the text to create a more eye-catching and easy to navigate online presence. To strengthen member engagement, Creative developed an ecommerce system for the Siegel JCC website that enabled members to sign up for JCC events and register for classes via the web.

The JCC's new website was designed to coordinate with Creative's strategic online web marketing plan using a combination of search engine optimization and cost-effective pay-per-click tactics. Today, the Siegel JCC can be found on the Internet when searching in the Delaware region for terms that relate to their offerings.

Equipped with an easy to use ecommerce system, members now use the site to explore and sign up for their diverse program offering. Catering Company
à La Cart Catering (www.alacartcatering.com) was a Cherry Hill based catering company looking to increase its market share throughout Southern New Jersey. Orders from their clients were taken by hand on carbon copy paper and communication between the different departments at the store was unorganized. Lacking any kind of web presence, walking into the store or searching the Yellow Pages was the only way to discover à La Cart Catering, or place an order with their staff. A change was needed in the day-to-day business operations and marketing tactics for à La Cart to grow.
Creative Web Group was brought in to analyze the inner workings of the business and architect a strategy using technology to achieve à La Cart's goals of enhancing their paper-based ordering system, streamlining their daily operations and increasing their awareness in the community. Creative decided that building a website for à La Cart from scratch would be the best option. This way, the representation of à La Cart's business would be portrayed formerly on their personalized website.
The new and improved web presence organized and displayed à La Cart's delicious product offering, so new and existing customers could browse their favorite dishes by category, life events, or holiday. A content management system was created, giving the à La Cart staff the ability to add and edit products on the fly. Ordering online became a real option with the addition of e-commerce abilities. Creative fashioned a customized internal cashier system to modify a procedural approach to taking orders and keeping track of all of à La Cart's financial and order records. With the inception of the website, ordering online finally became a reality.
Creative wanted to not only create the website for à La Cart, but also use it to increase overall market share in the South Jersey catering industry. Based on thorough research and search analytics, it was determined that thousands of people use the internet when looking to purchase catering. Armed with these figures, an innovative web marketing strategy was outlined to use search engines to attract people to the site and then convert them into customers. This marketing strategy dictated much of the image and verbiage placement throughout the site to better enhance search engine optimization.
